PUC or Pre-University Course is the mandatory education system prescribed by the Education Department of the Karnataka Government. PUC is also known as the Pre-Degree Course or PDC. The PUC is conducted in accordance with the mandatory 10+2 system of education mandated by the Central Government of India as the basic eligibility criteria for pursuing higher studies and/or careers in the country. 1st PUC is basically the 1st year of Pre-University Course or Class 11 as prescribed by the Department of Pre-University Education, Ministry of Education, Karnataka Government.
